SDARA Golf 2007

An annual golf tournament only for SDARA was successfully held on 9 September 2007 at the Nilai Spring Golf & COuntry Club.

A total of 15 flights teed off on a shotgun mode of play. SDARA 8286 was represented by none other than Potet, Dondeng, Kiayai, Baba & Kabu. Junior yg kenal Jimmy DogDog from batch 8488, the rest were the Otais. Seniors yang sempat kenal KISS 85, Payau 85, Azhar Ahmad 82, Razak 84, Nik Yassin 84.

Congratulation to Potet for the 4th standing of the B Medal. Champion A Medal of course lah Otai yg dah lama main.

Datuk Latiff, Tan Sri Isa Samad and Datuk Rahman Yeop also attended the dinner cum price giving ceremony.

On that special occasion a SDARA Golf Club was form and inaugural contribution of RM4,170 & Rph150,000 was collected.

Hopefully the newly formed club would be able to organise more fund raising activites and do more charities. Tak lah kena kutuk dgn cikgu sekolah......

Aku kena salute kau sket pasal mini tournament nih. Ex-Boss aku, En. Norzahid tu first impression dia kata "very well organised, Din". Mr Ng Thong Lai, Dealer Chevy kat Melaka pun kata puas haty main hari tu. Apa pun million thanks to all major sponsors, Mat Grr, Norzahid, Ng.Overall course & landscape kat Tiara Melaka GCC ni memang superb lah beBased on the participants and gift macam tournament besar dah........ May be boleh organise tournament lain kat tempat lain pulak....Baba & Dondeng & Others,Kalau senang satu hari kita set satu game ngan En.Zahid nih.... dia dah syok pulak main ngan kita.Untuk makluman yg tak hadir masa golf game nih:Participants start register from 1130 hrs, semua yg participate kena bayar fees of RM150 per person. According to Baba ni first time dia organise game collect payment upon registration, all the while bill sampai kemudian ( maklumlah budget besar..... ) aku pulak nih first time organise golf game.Lepas register semua collect goodie bag masing2. Dalam goodie bag nih ada satu baseball cap yg merah tu, 3 biji bola bridgestone (substitute bola titleist), face towel, 100plus (tq balok), brochure optra estate & mineral water. Thank you Yayasan Melaka.Potet,Mr Ng ni kata dia kenal kau....Light lunch was served at golf terrace. Bila aku turun tengok batch 76 up to 85 dah sampai dulu. Yang aku kenal Sle, Aimi, Payau, Azhar, Ehsan, Kashfi, KISS, Nik Yassin. Cikgu Sazali Sam pun ada juge.Around 1315 hrs tee off sebab ada yg datang lambat. Game hari tu panas betul..... lembik aku menjelang second nine. Masa aku nak tee off kat Hole 7 Woodland course tu, sekeluarga WILD HOGS melintas fairway pulak... phuuiihhh suwey.... Around 1730 baru habis game. Masing2 terus makan sendiri kat golf terrace. Lepas tu refresh kat changing room.Around 1830, prize giving ceremony pada yg memang. Siapa yg menang hah? Semua dapat hadiah. Tapi yg aku pelik tu Be, macam mana kau boleh dapat first aku dapat last? Home ground advatage nak buat macam mana..... AC MIlan pun titik MU kat homeground gak.......
Overall, seems like everybody was happy with the arrangement. Course cantik, club house pun well maintain, participants sporting, hadiah banyak, host mesra. Sekali lagi , a million thanks to sponsors, Mat Grr, Norzahid, Ng, Upai, Balok,Yayasan Melaka & Chevrolet.

May 07 Medal - Paradise Valley Seremban 3

An inaugural Monthly Medal Golf Challenge took flight at Seremban 3 Paradise Valley Golf Course. A competition inspired by the reunion games held at Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club, Ayer Keroh sometime in April 2007.

The game was divided in two flights of Dondeng, Baba, Potet & Kiyai in flight A, while Kabu, Upai, Madiah & Balok in flight B. Participants were later cross pair at the start of second nine.

Game tee-off around 1345 hrs, as usual lah yg jauh sampai dulu and ended around 1830 hrs.

Final score led by Dondeng, Upai & Kiyai. The rest follow suits. In summary the course was considered challenging to novice player just like most of us.

Later all except Potet went to Anjung Seri 2 Restaurant at Oakland Business Centre in Seremban 2 for dinner. There we were joined by Lecak & Dr Asiong.

Around 2130 hrs everyone disperse to own destination.

It was an enjoyable afternoon & evening and everyone seems happy with the outing.

It was agreed that there shall be a monthly medal game in the coming months. Myself may not make for June 07 medal due to some personal commitments. Aiming for the Annual Cup next year.
